As an American-born New York based cutting edge artist flourishing in the current global Electro Acoustic music movement Trevor is a natural co-conspirator. You will find him and viola with his music meanderings in the most exclusive immersive experiences and secret soirée’s in NYC. Plus, with a nod to his extensive classical roots, you will also find Trevor on tour or in collaboration with orchestra’s and in recording sessions with Academy and Grammy Award artists.

BiogRAphY

American born TREVOR NEW initially taught himself viola when he saw one in a store as a young boy, tinkered with it there, loved its sound and then bought it deciding it was something he needed to figure out and hence - explore. This led him to eventually study Viola performance as a masters student with Yitzak Schotte at the University of Michigan. And later, always one to seek sound beyond conventional realm, Trevor acquired instruction and residencies with Todd Reynolds with focus on composition and the development of music technology.
