Born and based in Buenos Aires with extensive classical music training these individuals are masterful musicians each in their own right. Having met as small children it was then that they began to craft tango music well beyond their years weaving Piazzolla songs with unique and playful meanderings of their own. Today, while still inspired by tango history, they artfully perform tango classics alongside their original scores that push a new wave of tango possibility.

La Grela Quintet blurs boundaries in NOT TOTALLY TANGO moving the art of tango into new discovery territory with Marie-Claire and Trevor whilst maintaining nostalgia inherent in the sensual musical genre.
